David headed the construction law group at a national Canadian firm.  He was the Founding Chairman of the Ontario Bar Association’s Construction Law Section, and a past Chairman of the Canadian Bar Association’s Construction Law Section.  He is a member of Team Resolution, a Toronto mediation and arbitration services firm, where he focuses on construction-related disputes.  His recent mediation and arbitration activities have included inter-provincial bridges, international tunnels, stadiums, power plants, and highways.  Mr. Bristow is a prolific author and frequent lecturer in Canada, the United States and Caribbean countries such as Cuba, Barbados and Mexico.  He is a member of the International Academy of Mediators and a founding member of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers.
